Island tourism Festival :
This is held in the month of December-January and is
celebrated for a fortnight. The whole of Anadaman&Nicobar
Island is beautifully decorated at this time.
During this festival , exhibitions are
organized which sees participation from government agencies
as well private businessmen.
This exhibition depicts the development process of the islands.
You get to see performances from cultural troupes as well nationally and internationally renowned artists during the Island Tourism Festival .

This festival highlights the art,culture marine life and folk dances and songs of Andamans.
Subhash Mela : This is another important Andaman Festival which is held in the month of January. It is celebrated in Havelock Island on the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. Week long festivity along with cultural programs are seen at this time.
Vivekananda Mela : This is also held in the month of January and is celebrated at the Neil Island to mark the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
Block Mela :
It is celebrated at Diglipur in the
month of January/February every year. This festival
particularly highlights the progress of rural areas
and also depicts the rural life of the islands.
