(Muscavado sugar is a type of of unrefined brown sugar with a strong molasses flavour. It is slightly coarser and stickier than most brown sugars, hence it is a better option to be used as body scrub than simple white sugar. If unavailable white or simple brown sugars can be used with good results in this recipe.)

This can be used externally for skin cleansing and whitening. Boil neem leaves in the water, let this liquid cool. Strain and use this liquid for washing face. It cleansing the skin, giving a refreshing feeling and helps a lot to the tanned skin.

The Andaman Islands have a tropical climate. There is medium to heavy rain during the monsoon, in the months from May to mid September and November to mid December. There is no extreme climate except rains and tropical storms in late summer often cause heavy damage. The weather is calm only from January to April and to some extend in October. The average annual rainfall is 318 cms. Rough weather prevails at the beginning of south-west monsoon and at the change of monsoon. The average temperature ranges between 22.5 o and 29.9 o .
The Islands are a tropical delight with mean minimum temperature at 230 C (75 - 85 F) and maximum at 280 C (78 - 95 F). The relative humidity on the islands is about 70% to 90% with a gentle breeze blowing all the time.
The Rainy Season
The weather is generally pleasant with average annual rainfall of 3,000 mm at Port Blair . The rainy season happens twice a year under the influence of Southwest monsoon in mid-May to September, and Northeast monsoon in November To January. In Nicobar Island rainy season dominates round the year, with the region getting most of its rain in the month of June. It's quite hot in the months of March to May in the Andamans.
One can visit these islands in between the months of October to May; however, November To March is a much preferable time.

The climate remains tropical throughout the year with temperatures varying between 24°C and 35°C. Due to the incessant sea breeze; Andamans has very humid weather. The southwest monsoon touches the Indian soil first in the Andamans and then proceeds towards the mainland. From mid-May to October, heavy rains flush the islands, often bringing violent cyclones that leave the west coast beaches strewn with fallen trees. In November and December less severe rains arrive with the northeast monsoon. The best time to visit these islands is between mid November and April.
