It is formed on the Sharavathi River which cascades down from a height of 958 feet gushing down on the rocks of the Western Ghats. Jog Falls is located in the Shimoga District of Karnataka.

• Admire the Watergates of the Linganmakki Dam ,which is opened during the monsoons.
