Eye Care:
.Close your eyes and cover your eyelids with slices of raw potato or cucumber for twenty minutes. Wash your with warm water and apply a suitable under eye cream.
.Grate a cucumber, squeeze out the juice into a glass and refrigerate. Make a mixture of lemon juice, lanolin cream and cucumber juice and apply around the under eye area. Wash off after fifteen minutes and apply a gentle under eye cream.
.Grated potatoes can lighten under eye circles. Potatoes contain an enzyme called catecholase, which is used in cosmetics as a skin lightener.
.Run one potato through your food processor and stuff the raw mash into a piece of cheesecloth.
.Apply to the area directly beneath your eye — don't let the potato juice come in contact with the eye itself and leave for 15 to 20 minutes. Wipe away the starchy residue
.Soak your nails in water with lemon juice or lemon slices. The lemon acts as an astringent and will strip away stains.
.Once your hands are dry, you'll only need to put on a couple of coats of a clear topcoat.
.Similarly, rubbing whitening toothpaste over your nails, will remove any yellowish hues.
.Soak a black tea bag with warm water. Press over clean lips for five minutes. Repeat as many times as desired. Black tea is high in tannin which retains moisture and keeps lips smooth and taut.
