Day 01: Chennai
After you arrive in Chennai/Madras, our Tour Executive
will receive you and lead you to your hotel.
Day 02 : Chennai
After breakfast, you are required to head off to the airport to catch your flight to Madurai. After you arrival in Madurai you will meet our executives who will guide you to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will be taken around the city where you get to see the enormous Meenakshi Temple that commands reverence and Nayak Palace built by King Thirumalai Nayak in the seventeenth century. We will make arrangements for your overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 03: Madurai/Munnar
A 4 to 5 hour's drive will take you to the breathtakingly beautiful Munnar where the vast expanse of tea plantations, pristine vales, lofty mountains, and exotic species of flora and fauna will leave you speechless. The tea plantation and the wildlife sanctuary at the hill resort will be included in your tour itinerary. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 04: Munnar
Spend the fourth day of your South India Wildlife Tour in a relaxed way. You have the whole day to yourself which you can best utilize by indulging in activities like trekking or pay a visit to the wildlife sanctuaries. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 05: Periyar - Tours To Kerala Wildlife
A drive of three hours in the morning will take you to Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where the splendor of nature blends perfectly with human innovation. Check into your hotel. A two hour boat ride on Lake Periyar in the afternoon will be an unforgettable experience. The boat ride might coincide with the time when the animals come down to the water's edge. Day 06: Periyar
Day 06 begins with the morning breakfast after which you will be taken on a tour to the spice plantation that also include optional elephant ride. Enjoy an evening boat ride on Lake Periyar. For your overnight stay in Periyar we will arrange for the accommodation that can either be a hotel or else a watchtower. Periyar is a perfect place for trekking and sightseeing. Day 07: Kottayam
The seventh day of your south India Wildlife tours begins with your breakfast followed by a drive to Kottayam. The houseboat you board will take you through the coconut palm lined backwaters towards Alleppey. Day 08: Alleppey/Cochin - Tours To Kerala

After breakfast, you arrive in Alleppey whose innumerable network of inland canals have earned it the sobriquet “Venice of the East”. You will debark the boat and a drive of about ninety minutes will take you to Cochin. Enjoy the Kathakali performance in the evening to get a taste of the culture of Kerala. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 09: Cochin
Fort Cochin, St Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Spice market and Antique markets will fall under your morning sightseeing itinerary on the ninth day. The evening sunset cruise on Cochin Harbour is an exhilarating one. Overnight stay at Cochin.
Day 10: Cochin/Wyanad
Full day drive via Calicut to Vythiri Resort in the Wyannad Hills. This eco friendly resort is wedged the lap of Nature in the heart of the lush tropical rainforest. Day 13: BR Hills
Your jungle jaunts continue at BR Hills Camp. Short elephant safaris or jeep safaris and coracle safaris on the Kabini River offer you an opportunity to observe birds of various species.
Day 14: BR Hills/Mysore
After wrapping up the early morning jungle activities and having breakfast, a drive for 2 hrs will take you to Mysore. In the afternoon have a city tour to visit the Mysore Palace. A priceless national treasure and the pride of a kingdom, the Mysore Palace is the seat of the famed Wodeyar Maharajas of Mysore. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 15: Mysore
Spend the morning in sightseeing around the Mysore city. The afternoon is left free for your personal activities. Overnight stay at Mysore.
Day 16: Bangalore
After breakfast, a drive for about 4 hours from Mysore will take you to Bangalore en route visiting Srirangapatanam, the summer palace and the ancient capital of Tipu Sultan. In the evening you will be transferred to the airport where you can board your homebound flight.
