Day 01: Chennai

On your arrival at Chennai, you will be cordially received by our tour representative who will assist you in your transference to the hotel.

Day 02:Chennai

On the second day of your South India Wildlife Tours you will be driving to the airport after breakfast to board your flight to Madurai. On reaching Madurai you will be lead to the hotel by our executives.

In the afternoon, you will be taken on a sightseeing tour around the city where you get to see the majestic Meenakshi Temple that commands reverence and Nayak Palace built by King Thirumalai Nayak in the seventeenth century. Arrangements will be made for your overnight sojourn at Madurai.

Day 03: Madurai/Munnar

The third day of your South India Wildlife Tours has a lot in store for you. A 4 to 5 hour’s drive from Madurai will take you to picturesque Munnar where you will be truly mesmerized by the vast expanse of tea plantations, scenic vales, soaring mountains, and diverse and exotic species of flora and fauna. You are required to stay overnight at Munnar.

Day 04: Munnar

The fourth day of your South India Wildlife Tour can be spent in a relaxed way. You have the entire day to yourself that you can spend in whichever way you like. Trekking and paying visits to the wildlife sanctuaries can be a great idea. Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 05: Periyar

A three hours drive in the morning will see you at the threshold of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where nature’s grandeur is wonderfully blended with human innovation. This will be followed by your checking into the hotel. In the afternoon you will get to enjoy an exhilarating two hour boat ride on the tranquil Lake Periyar. Overnight stay at Periyar.

Day 06: Periyar

On the sixth day of your South India Wildlife Tours, you will be accompanying you to the spice plantation that is made more alluring by an optional elephant ride. Enjoy an evening boat ride on Lake Periyar will be a soothing experience. For your overnight stay in Periyar we will arrange for the accommodation that can either be a hotel or else a watchtower. Periyar is the ideal place to indulge in activities like trekking and sightseeing. We can also arrange a full day outing that includes slow rafting down the river, bird watching and trekking.
