How to Reach Munnar Travel & Tours
One can travel to Munnar through several domestic as well as international flights that base at the airports of Cochin (that is about 135 km) and Madurai (about 140 km).
The nearest railway stations from where one can travel to Munnar are Cochin, Dindigul (about 130km) and Coimbatore (165km). One has no direct railway station at Munnar, as it is a hill station.
One has no access to buses directly leaving from Chennai or Bangalore.
The state transport buses even ply to Munnar from Dindigul, Coimbatore and Cochin. Taxis are also available in plenty.
